UNFORGETTABLE OFF-TRAIN EXPERIENCES

PERTH

Arts, entertainment, history and culture await you in sunny Perth. A short ferry ride will land you at Rottnest Island, home to idyllic beaches and Australia’s beloved Quokka population. Walk, ride, snorkel or segway the day away at your leisure.

ADELAIDE

Nestled between the ocean and the mountains, Adelaide is a diverse urbane centre offering the best of both worlds. Discover the city by foot, go behind the scenes at Adelaide Oval or sample cool-climate wines in the Barossa Valley.

RAWLINNA (SEASONAL)

Rawlinna is an intriguing remote outpost nestled on the Nullabor Plain, home to The Rawlinna Station and 80,000 sheep. Explore the station by day before indulging in a tranquil feast under the desert sky at night. This stop is seasonal, during the cooler months on the Sydney to Perth route.

COOK

Cook served as a halfway stop for trains crossing the Nullabor before the invention of diesel-powered locomotives. Now a modern-day ghost town, visitors can wander the dusty streets for a glimpse of pioneer life dating back to 1917. The old bush hospital and outhouse style gaol cells are sure to delight.

KALGOORLIE

Situated in the goldfields region of Western Australia, Kalgoorlie is the largest outback city in the county. Visit Hannan’s North Tourist Mine for a short performance by local artists, delving into the town’s rich gold rush history. You’ll also have the chance to explore one of the largest open-cut mines in the world.

Meridian Travel, Kirsty and her team are just the best for personal service compared to the high street big franchises shops we looked at…Nothing was too much trouble for the team as they got to know us and our requirements… I commend Kirsty and recommend her team to anyone that wants a top personalized package, not just a brochure dropped in your lap to pick a holiday.
