DARWIN TO ADELAIDE

4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

From $1,099 per person*

UNFORGETTABLE OFF-TRAIN EXPERIENCES

KATHERINE

Discover the untamed tropical north of Australia in Katherine. Cruise the Nitmulik Gorge or take in the sights by helicopter (optional extra). Either way, there’s plenty of time to uncover the history and culture etched in the landscape by its traditional owners, the Jawoyn people.

ALICE SPRINGS

Nestled between the iconic MacDonnell Ranges and the desert, no journey around Australia is complete without a stop in Alice Springs. Explore Simpsons Gap and the native wildlife centre during the day before enjoying a spectacular feast under the Milky Way at night.

MANGURI

Located 30 minutes outside Coober Pedy, Manguri is the captain’s choice for an awe-inspiring evening under the stars. Grab a nightcap, pull up a chair by the bonfire and take it all in. This brief stop is only offered on the southbound journey from Darwin to Adelaide.

COOBER PEDY

Australia’s ‘underground town’ of Coober Pedy is a quirky opal mining town built almost entirely below ground to escape the desert heat.
Visit the Aboriginal Interpretive Centre, the Umoona Opal Mine and Museum, and the ‘dugouts’ that make this town so unique.

ULURU AND KATA TJUTA (OPTIONAL)

No visit to the Red Centre of Australia is complete without a stop in Uluru, an ancient and iconic rock rising 860 metres above sea level.

This optional excursion includes a scenic flight, cultural immersion, a visit to Mutitjula Waterhole and picnic lunch, followed by an authentic dining experience at Alice Springs Telegraph Station.

Meridian Travel, Kirsty and her team are just the best for personal service compared to the high street big franchises shops we looked at…Nothing was too much trouble for the team as they got to know us and our requirements… I commend Kirsty and recommend her team to anyone that wants a top personalized package, not just a brochure dropped in your lap to pick a holiday.
